Job Summary

Te āhua o te tūranga The nature of the role

In this role youll be right at the centre of how learning and organisational development comes to life at Contact. As our Organisational Development Advisor youll work alongside leaders and the wider People Experience team to design and deliver learning experiences that build confidence capability and performance across the business. From identifying learning needs through to designing and delivering programmes youll help ensure our people have what they need to do their best work now and into the future.

Youll bring learning to life in a variety of ways blending face to face virtual digital and bite sized learning to suit different audiences and contexts. Youll also be a strong advocate for innovation using technology and fresh thinking to continuously improve how we develop our people. Along the way youll help embed wellbeing psychological safety and inclusive ways of working into everything we do supporting a culture of ako shared learning and continuous improvement.


Qualifications :

Youre someone who genuinely believes in the power of learning and development to lift people and organisations. You enjoy partnering with leaders listening carefully and turning ideas into practical solutions that create real impact. Youre comfortable working at pace juggling priorities and bringing structure to ambiguity while still staying curious and open to new ideas.

Must haves

  • Experience in learning and development or organisational development including needs analysis programme design and delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build trust
  • A solid understanding of adult learning principles and blended learning approaches
  • Experience working with learning management systems and evaluating learning effectiveness

Nice to haves

  • Experience developing eLearning content using authoring tools
  • Exposure to competency frameworks or large scale organisational change
  • A background in innovative or digitally enabled learning environments

Additional Information :

This is a fixed term parental leave opportunity through to December 2026 offering a meaningful chance to step into a pivotal Organisational Development role and make an immediate impact. While theres a preference for someone based in Tauranga were very open to applications from people located near our offices in Auckland or Wellington with flexible ways of working supported.
