The Case Manager (RN) reviews all direct and Emergency Department admissions or observation patients (preferably at the time of admission) for correct status. In addition they assess patient clinical data for continued stays discharges and plans of care in all patient care units. This individual will promptly provide clinical reviews required and/or requested by insurance payers. Case Managers record and track data to assist in providing the best quality of care to our patients and to assure that resources are utilized appropriately. They assist in ensuring that Medicaid Emergency Department Information Exchange and Patients Requiring Coordination (PRC) patients who are seen in the Emergency Department receive timely follow-up with Primary Care Providers.
Qualifications :
What is required...
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program & currently licensed in the State of Washington
What is preferred...
- BLS for Healthcare Providers card
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous experience in Utilization Review or Case Management
Additional Information :
Wage: Wage range currently starts at $44.70/hour and goes up to $79.60/hour. Actual wage will be based on years of applicable experience.
FTE: 1.0 (40 hours/week)
