Summary of Position
The Research Engineer I supports R&D initiatives by conducting hands-on experiments collecting and
analyzing data and assisting in process improvements. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with a strong technical foundation who are eager to develop their expertise in PV module manufacturing and testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct experiments as directed and execute experiments with minor oversight.
Collect and process data ensuring accuracy and integrity.
Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Operate and maintain lab and factory equipment.
Support process improvement initiatives within R&D.
Assist with projects taking ownership of specific tasks and potentially leading 1-2 minor projects.
Collaborate with team members under supervision to execute R&D initiatives.
Learn from senior engineers while mentoring engineering interns.
Implement existing R&D processes and document work through reports and technical notes.
Qualifications :
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to follow protocols and work effectively in a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; additional software knowledge is a plus.
Traits

Required:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Chemistry or Physics.
Hands-on experience in an R&D or manufacturing environment (internship or academic projects
acceptable).

Familiarity with PV module manufacturing or materials science.
Basic troubleshooting skills for laboratory or production equipment.
