Job Summary
Preparation or review of boiler structural model and calculation of boiler loads rigidity and center of gravity:
- Preparation of specialistic calculations for the load-bearing structures (hangers guides backstays etc.) of the boiler considering both static and dynamic loads.
- Preparation of static calculations for detailed designs and technical documents of boiler construction.
- Preparation of calculation for anchor loads adjustment (office) and anchor loads adjustment (site).
- Inspection of the boiler during assembly and operation
- Prepares conceptual and basic engineering documentation including RFQ/PO documentation in early stages of the projects
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in civil or mechanical engineering with a focus on structural mechanics or an equivalent qualification.
- Solid knowledge of steel structure and sheet metal construction - in preparing and verifying static or dynamic structural calculation.
- 5 years experience in similar position in large EPC projects.
- Knowledge of structural calculation methods (FEM beam- plate- and shell-analysis) of standard (Eurocode other) and structural analysis and design softwares (Rstab RFEM SAP200)
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
