The Role
After successfully winning multiple city-shaping projects across Australia we are looking for a strategic delivery-focused Project Leader in Perth acting as Henning Larsens senior presence in Western Australia embedded in a major city-shaping projects and contributing to long-term West Coast growth.
What we are offering
Reporting to the Regional Director and supporting the Design Director you will take on the role as Project Leader based in Perth for the day-to-day management of large-scale projects based in Western Australia. The majority of the project team will be based in our Sydney this role you will act as the primary Perth-based representative working closely with the Sydney team while providing on-the-ground leadership coordination and support in Western Australia.
Beyond the project you will contribute to new project pursuits and broader business development efforts across Western Australia. While working closely with our Australian team you will also collaborate with international designers and specialists from across our global studio.
Across our Australian practice we are delivering projects spanning a broad range of scales and typologies from cultural institutions and universities to master plans and headquarters. You will join a studio defined by a strong design culture and a longstanding track record of award-winning human-centred architecture.
Qualifications :
About you
We are looking for an experienced Project Leader or Senior Architect who is passionate about innovative high-quality architecture across both conceptual and detailed resolution and ultimately in working with Clients to achieve their goals.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in leading large-scale projects and managing diverse teams and external stakeholders. A collaborative mindset is critical to this role in working with institutional clients diverse teams and wide-ranging stakeholders
This position is suited to a motivated Project Leader with strong conceptual capability and proven experience.
- A minimum of 8 years postgraduate experience
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organisational skills
- Excellent client / stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate and present clearly and concisely
- Experience in the full life cycle of projects including concept/schematic design as well as detailed design phases construction and collaboration with large multidisciplinary teams
- A thorough knowledge of Australian building codes and standards
- Proficient in Revit with basic knowledge of supporting design software (i.e. Rhino Enscape)
- Experience working in a team across multiple disciplines and geographies to engage in a collaborative design process
- Architectural Registration in Australia an added benefit
- Experience on high-profile national and international projects an added benefit
- Eligible to work in Australia and ideally already based in Perth.
