Construction Surveyor Direct Hire

Location: Appleton WI
Pay Range: $35$40/hr Per Diem
Schedule: MondayFriday (Flexible / Overtime as Needed)

We have an immediate need for an experienced Construction Surveyor to support commercial and industrial projects in the Appleton area. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering competitive pay company truck per diem comprehensive benefits and long-term steady employment.

Candidates must have experience with Trimble surveying equipment demonstrate strong technical expertise in surveying and construction layout and be capable of working independently and in a team environment. Occasional travel (20%) to project sites and flexible hours may be required.

Position Overview

The Construction Surveyor will perform field surveys verify site layout and elevations and ensure projects meet design specifications. This role requires close collaboration with project managers engineers and field crews and involves hands-on work with foundations paving flatwork and other construction elements. Attention to detail problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret construction plans are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys using Trimble total stations GPS and laser levels

• Verify foundation sitework paving and flatwork layout alignment and elevation before and after concrete pours

• Collaborate with project managers engineers and contractors to resolve discrepancies

• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure accuracy

• Prepare as-built surveys for completed projects

• Interpret construction drawings and blueprints for proper project placement

• Communicate regularly with project managers on survey progress

• Follow all safety regulations and company protocols

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 35 years of surveying or construction experience must have Trimble equipment experience

• Proficient with surveying techniques total stations GPS and laser levels

• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings blueprints and site plans

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and organizational abilities

• Valid Drivers License; ability to travel 20% to project sites

• Flexible availability including overtime when necessary
