DescriptionOversee production operations of a division in collaboration with project supervisors Contract Administrators and Operation Managers. Mentor project supervisors to help them gain a better understanding of the project(s) and project management. Collaborate with field supervisors to ensure
completion of projects on time within budget constraints and at the highest safety customer service and quality levels possible. Collaborate with Operation Managers to confirm Annual Operating Plan numbers are being met for their division and advise on changes needed to correct course as necessary.
Job Duties:
- Oversee division projects to assure the timely completion of the projects within budget and necessary quality levels.
- Review with Operation Managers Contract Administrators and field supervisors the completed
- Billing Projections each month prior to the Project Review Meetings.
- Review the monthly project billings between the 20th-25th of each month.
- Collaborate with field supervisor to ensure project schedules are on task and are updated at
- least monthly.
- Review subcontractor agreement documents and ensure all the correct products submittals specifications plans etc. are being followed and used.
- Ensure quality of work is per project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with field supervisors to inspect work to ensure it complies with company construction documents building codes and manufacturer standards.
- Oversee that safety protocols are being adhered to and enforced. Collaborate with field
- supervisors to address any safety concerns or issues.
- Review project specifications and provide approved products for submittals. Collaborate with
- field supervisors to create project specific approved material lists.
- Enforce company policies and procedures in a respectful and professional manner.
- Assist with handling of high-level project-related matters and resolution of project problems.
- Interpret and clarify contract and technical matter to others in a clear manner and review with
- subordinates accordingly.
- Collaborate with Operation Managers and administrative team on weekly basis to ensure any
- open administrative tasks are complete (RFIs Budgets Projections RFCs etc.).
- Collaborate with field supervisors and Operation Managers on unit pricing or time and material
- cost break downs with the scope of work photos and back-up documents required for all
- Requests for Change/Change Order Requests for accuracy.
- Collaborate with field supervisors and Operation Managers that all information and documents for all Requests for Information Submittals and all closeout documents were accurate and provided to the Contract Administrator.
- Collaborate with the Operation Managers on job start up meetings. Job to be fully broken down at time of job start up meeting e.g. budget implemented start date reviewed with senior management submittals organized pre-meeting with estimator complete etc.
- Manage and oversee divisional manpower allocation and needs.
- Attend weekly meetings and site walks ad hoc.
- Collaborate with Operation Manager and project team on client and third-party organizations communications.
