What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):
- BBS licensed LMFT LCSW LPCC PsyD or PhD
- Masters degree in family/child counseling development or psychology social services or professional counseling or related social science field. Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology preferred.
- Four (4) years direct service experience with the mentally ill children adolescents and/or adults
- Two (2) years supervisory experience in a health care setting preferred.
- 2 years-post licensure experience with ability to provide Clinical Supervision to registered interns/associates and/or practicum students in Behavioral Services or Psychology related fields preferred
- Valid California Drivers License
- Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age
- BLS CPR/First Aid
How you will make a difference:
This position has primary responsibility for directing and supervising the staff who provide mental health and support services to clients and their families. The Clinical Supervisor may have their own caseload in addition to oversight responsibilities. S/he acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical & support staff. This position involves planning implementation monitoring and revision of the clinical treatment program. The Center Director/Clinical Supervisor represents the agency to county agencies and the community. S/he meets with clients provides direct care and treatment and may be involved in the client grievance process. The Center Director/Clinical Supervisor is responsible for facility management.
Division/Program Overview:
The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short-term voluntary residential facility.
Designed to help adult residents ages 18-59 who experience a psychiatric crisis to
safely stabilize recover and transition back to community.
Services include:
24/7 Program
Therapeutic and mental health services
Rehabilitation/recovery services including substance use rehabilitation services
Pre-vocational or vocational counseling
Medication evaluation and support services
Daily exercise and health/wellness education
Crisis intervention
