Job Summary
- Operates assigned vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
- Maintains defensive driving.
- Keeps assigned vehicles clean inside and outside.
- Performs daily checks on assigned vehicle as per basic checks radiator engine oil dip stick wiper water and tyres.
- Performs minor vehicle repairs and Tyre change.
- Checks fuel level for assigned vehicles daily.
- Responds immediately to accidents or medical emergencies by notifying emergency response providers supervisor and rendering First Aid until emergency personnel arrive.
- Drivers must adhere to the W&G Drivers Standard Operating Procedures.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- A valid drivers license class 67 or 9
- Must be able to operate forklifts trailers hiabs 20/40 hammer and steelbro side-lifters
- Must have 2 -3 years experience in a similar position
- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
- Able to work flexible hours when required. Including local travel from time to time
- An honest and dedicated person with a good attitude
