Job Summary
- Develop and execute durability and reliability test plans for systems and vehicle.
- Responsible for System Technical Specification development for SSD (Strength Stiffness Durability) Attributes
- Perform root cause analysis on failures using structured methodologies
- Define system and vehicle durability requirements and validation criteria based on customer usage industry standards and internal benchmarks.
- Perform chassis and powertrain system durability tests along with testing partner
- Work closely with design manufacturing and quality teams to recommend design improvements and corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed technical reports documenting test results insights and recommendations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and reduce warranty issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards regulations and internal engineering guidelines.
- Develop Lead and align on Test Standards and Procedures for all Systems and Vehicle
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or automotive Engineering
- 8 years if experience in Automotive Product Development in the area of Durability
- Strong understanding of fatigue material behaviour and structural analysis
- Experience in Durability Test planning target setting for SSD attributes
- Experience in handling chassis and powertrain system durability tests
- Strong analytical statistical problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in automotive electric vehicle durability testing.
- Understanding of Durability CAE reports and data
