FLINT is seeking Journeyperson Rig Welders with shop and field experience for a casual position in Fort McMurray starting February 23 2026. In this position you will enjoy a casual schedule and benefits after 300 hours worked
This position does not include camp accommodations living out allowance or travel allowance. Therefore it is best suited for local candidates; however those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.
Qualifications :
- Valid Journeyperson Welder certificate/ticket.
- Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- WHMIS
- Possess the mandatory welding tickets:
- B-Pressure (nice to have)
- CWB (mandatory)
- Must have a fully equipped welding truck with valid registration and insurance.
- Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
- Proficient in English both written and verbal communication required.
Additional Information :
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
