Deputy Nursery Manager 40 Hours Up to 31000

This nursery has large airy rooms and a wonderful outdoor garden that children use regularly supported by an established Forest School programme. The setting cares for children from three months to five years in defined age-group rooms with resources chosen for each stage. As a Deputy Nursery Manager role is focused on ensuring consistent delivery of care and learning working closely with room leaders and practitioners.

You must have recent senior experience within a nursery or early years setting.

What Youll Need

Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
Senior or supervisory experience within a nursery setting
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Confidence leading a team and maintaining compliance standards

Desirable

Paediatric First Aid certification
Previous Deputy Nursery Manager experience

What Youll Do

Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery
Lead practice across rooms to maintain consistent standards of care and education
Oversee planning and delivery of EYFS activities including outdoor learning
Coach and guide practitioners students and room leaders
Monitor safeguarding health and safety and compliance requirements
Build professional relationships with parents and carers
