Description

We are hiring for our client an established and growing organisation based in County Antrim who are seeking to appoint a Payroll Specialist on an initial 1218 month contract with strong potential for permanency.

The successful Payroll Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll while contributing to process enhancements across the function.

The Role:

End-to-end processing of payroll on a weekly/monthly basis
Ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation and HMRC regulations
Managing starters leavers statutory payments and pension contributions
Processing benefits deductions and salary adjustments accurately
Reconciling payroll reports and resolving any discrepancies
Acting as a key point of contact for payroll-related queries
Supporting year-end processes including P60s and reporting requirements
Assisting with continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes

The Person:

Proven experience working as a Payroll Specialist or within a payroll-focused role
Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements
High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise effectively
Strong communication skills and a professional confidential approach
Experience working within a busy finance function is desirable
