DescriptionRole Summary
We are seeking an experienced ECM/EDMS & Letter Generation Systems Engineer with strong expertise in xPression and Docfinity. The candidate will be responsible for implementing configuring supporting and maintaining Electronic Content Management (ECM) Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and Letter Generation platforms in a hosted enterprise environment.
Experience with tools such as DocFinity OnBase FileNet xPression IBM Cognos Analytics or FormWorks/FIS Document Capture Manager is preferred. Training may be provided for candidates with strong foundational skills.
The role requires strong operational support experience system administration skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and support ECM/EDMS and Letter Generation systems using xPression and Docfinity
- Configure system settings options and environment parameters
- Provide high-level technical expertise for operational support functions
- Support internal and external business customers through helpdesk and operational activities
- Create release packages and support code repository systems
- Perform software installations upgrades and code deployments
- Troubleshoot application server and infrastructure-related issues
- Support hosted environments and provide ongoing maintenance
- Participate in on-call rotations including after-hours and weekend support
- Work closely with development teams business analysts vendors DBAs architects and IT operations teams
- Enforce security policies compliance standards and governance procedures
- Perform risk assessments and support audit activities
- Create instructional documentation and provide user training
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in relevant technologies
- Helpdesk and system administration experience in ECM/EDMS using xPression and Docfinity
- Strong experience with Windows Server OS (2008/2016/2019/2022)
- Experience supporting hosted environments
- MS Office Suite proficiency
- Experience with issue tracking and ticketing systems
- SFTP/FTP knowledge
- Security policies and risk assessment/auditing knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware VM and software)
- Good understanding of network server and telecom infrastructure/architecture
- Ability to work independently with documentation and ticketing systems
- Strong documentation and instructional writing skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with at least one of the following:
- ECM/EDMS tools
- Letter Generation systems
- OCR software
- Basic WebSphere administration and support
- MS SQL Server (2008/2019)
- Networking fundamentals
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) knowledge

- OCR/Workflow experience
- Kodak scanners and Capture software
- PowerShell and scripting knowledge
- Experience working with helpdesk/ticketing systems
