Job Title: Housekeeper

Employment Type: Part - Time

Shift: Evening 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. (with every other weekend rotation)

Location: St. Francis Hospital Wilmington DE

Position Purpose:

The Housekeeper performs housekeeping duties for the hospitals Environmental Services Department.

As a Housekeeper you will:

• Provide routine cleaning service to assigned areas and predominantly to nursing units to ensure a safe and clean environment by following established procedures and schedules.
• Meets all scheduling requirements and direction from supervisors to complete routine housekeeping/laundry services.
• Dust and wet mopping of floors vacuuming dusting and damp wiping of surfaces wall washing trash collection and removal cleaning of restrooms and patient areas and non-clinical areas and all other assigned duties.
• Sort load and unload linen into and from dryers. Feed/receive linen into or from ironer/folder.
• Fold and stack linen and load cart.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)
• 1-2 years EVS/Housekeeping experience
