Job Summary

Cakum Global is looking for a Property Superintendent to represent our client in Khouribga Morocco.

Heres why this role matters:
Our client provides apartments (2 buildings totalling 18 apartments) for one of their important customers in Khouribga Morocco. The customer demands facilities maintenance services (plumbing electrical air conditioning handyman etc) of the highest quality and responsiveness available. The actual tradesmen conducting the maintenance/repair work are Khouribga-based.

Our client requires an independent contractor casual key Point of Contact in the area (Casablanca considered close enough) to undertake weekly visits to the site to conduct ad hoc inspections and liaise with our clients customer as well as be available on-call 24/7 to coordinate over the phone any emergency maintenance/repair needs.

Critically the contractor MUST be tri-lingual in English Arabic and French. Applicants who are unable to speak and write in excellent English will not be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Visit the site in Khouribga once per week (4 times per month) to:
- Undertake ad hoc inspections of the condition of buildings surrounding area and where applicable apartments.
- Inspect work undertaken when necessary.
Liaise with the clients customer points-of-contact (e.g. Building Manager).
Coordinate utilities and services (electrical plumbing etc).
Maintain contact with client key points-of-contact (typically based in Australia and the Philippines) via WhatsApp and email.
Undertake ad hoc visits when required (a supplementary payment will be paid for each call-out to the location by the contractor).

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

While there are no specific educational or technical/trade experience required for this role the following are key to success:

Excellent written and spoken English and French.
Fluent written and spoken Arabic.
Excellent organization and coordination skills.
Good inter-personal skills.
Available on-call 24/7.
Own your own vehicle (not supplied by client).
Experience in rental property management would be highly desirable.
Certification/experience in a trade (carpentry electrical plumbing air conditioning etc) is not necessary but would be useful.

USD 500 per month (one site visit per week-4 per month)

USD 125 per additional visit
