Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Compliance Audit Specialist for a short-term contract assignment. This role will support the HR department by conducting a compliance documentation audit and organizing HR records within the companys shared drive to ensure accuracy accessibility and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct an audit of HR files to verify compliance with company policies and applicable labor regulations
- Review employee records for completeness accuracy and proper documentation
- Organize rename and structure HR files within the shared drive for consistent recordkeeping
- Identify missing or non-compliant documentation and prepare a summary of findings
- Collaborate with HR leadership to prioritize corrections and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
- Recommend improvements to file organization and document retention processes
Qualifications
- 3 years of Human Resources experience preferably in HR compliance audits or records management
- Strong understanding of HR documentation requirements and confidentiality standards
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with shared drives document management systems or HRIS platforms
- Ability to work independently and meet tight project deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience performing HR compliance audits
- Familiarity with employment record retention requirements and regulatory compliance standards
Schedule
- Approximately 1-month assignment
- Hybrid schedule with some on-site presence required
