Job Summary

Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an industrial Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations within a manufacturing facility balancing both office-based planning and hands-on technical work. This role ensures equipment reliability safe work practices and efficient execution of maintenance activities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team Leadership & Supervision

Lead coach and schedule a team of maintenance technicians.
Assign daily tasks and ensure all work is completed safely efficiently and in compliance with company standards.

Maintenance Planning & Execution

Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Coordinate routine inspections repairs and equipment servicing to minimize downtime.

Technical Oversight

Provide technical guidance on mechanical electrical hydraulic pneumatic and facility-related systems.
Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety regulatory and quality requirements.

Budget & Resource Management

Manage maintenance budgets and track expenditures.
Ensure cost-effective use of labor materials and external contractors.

Inventory & Asset Management

Maintain accurate inventory of tools parts and supplies.
Ensure critical spare parts are available to support uninterrupted operations.

Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution

Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs when needed.

Reporting & Documentation

Prepare and maintain records of maintenance activities equipment performance and ongoing projects.
Provide regular updates to leadership on maintenance status issues and improvement opportunities.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

Technical Expertise

Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices including mechanical systems hydraulics pneumatics electrical systems plumbing and basic carpentry.
Familiarity with maintenance management software and electronic maintenance systems.

Leadership & Communication

Proven ability to lead and motivate maintenance teams.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with production engineering and external partners.

Organizational & Problem-Solving Skills

Ability to plan prioritize and schedule work effectively.
Skilled in identifying root causes and implementing practical timely solutions.

Experience

3 years of experience supervising maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
Experience using electronic maintenance or CMMS systems required.

Education

Bachelors degree required (Engineering Industrial Technology or related field preferred).
