Location: This is a full-time in-office role in Springfield Virginia with close access to the broader Northern Virginia and DC metro legal market.

Job Description

• Manage and support personal injury files from intake through resolution with increasing ownership over time
• Communicate directly with clients and guide them through litigation and settlement strategy
• Draft and review pleadings motions discovery and case correspondence
• Conduct discovery take and defend depositions as appropriate and coordinate experts and records
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
• Appear in General District Court and Circuit Court and assist with trial preparation

Qualifications

• Virginia Bar required
• 0 years of litigation experience preferred personal injury experience is a plus but not required
• Strong legal writing attention to detail and comfort with client-facing work
• Motivated coachable and team-oriented with a genuine interest in litigation
