We are hiring a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with experience in the AEC space to support the development of AI-powered CAD design solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who understands how architects and engineers actually use CAD tools and can translate that real-world workflow into meaningful test scenarios. You wont just follow scripts - you will explore question break validate and improve complex design software.
You will work closely with engineers product managers and automation specialists to ensure releases are stable reliable and ready for production. AI tools are part of the workflow and we expect you to use them intelligently to increase speed and coverage.
What Youll Be Doing
- Execute structured and exploratory manual testing across product features
- Perform release validation and post-deployment checks
- Reproduce reported issues and provide detailed documentation for engineering teams
- Create refine and maintain comprehensive test cases and testing documentation
- Identify repetitive flows that can be automated and collaborate with automation engineers
- Contribute to sprint planning and release readiness discussions
- Apply AI-assisted tools to enhance QA depth and efficiency
What Were Looking For
- 2 years of experience in manual or exploratory testing within a software environment
- Exposure to React-based web applications
- Hands-on familiarity with Rhino or other professional CAD tools
- Experience with Grasshopper Dynamo or similar visual scripting environments
- Understanding of architectural workflows and CAD fundamentals
- Comfortable working within Agile development cycles
- Basic understanding of DevOps concepts such as builds staging and deployment flows
- Strong bug documentation skills including clear reproduction steps and precise expected vs actual comparisons
- Experience using issue tracking systems ideally GitLab
Nice to Have
- Interest in AI-supported development and QA workflows (e.g. Cursor or similar tools)
- Experience testing browser-based 3D environments ( WebGL or similar)
