Position Overview:
We are seeking a Wealth Planning Associate or Assistant Vice President to support sophisticated client work at the intersection ofestate planning philanthropy and family governance.
This role is both analytical and client-facing: you will build comprehensive estate planning analyses usingLuminary translate complex findings into clear summaries and presentations and help deliver those insights in client meetings.
You will also research philanthropic strategies aligned with client priorities contribute to rising-generation engagement and strengthen advisor capabilities through training materials thought leadership content and scalable planning resources.
In parallel you will help drive execution across the Trust Company planning team through pipeline reporting meeting follow-ups and ad hoc project leadership.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Estate Planning
- Input client data into Luminary software to develop comprehensive estate planning analyses
- Serve as firmwide resource on Luminary software capabilities and provide guidance to wealth advisor teams on utilizing Luminary
- Prepare estate planning summaries model hypothetical wealth transfer techniques and prepare client presentations utilizing Luminary software
- Present Luminary output in client meetings
- Philanthropy
- Perform philanthropic research through analyses of issues philanthropic approaches and opportunities in the clients areas of interest and present research to clients in support of clients charitable objectives
- Support Head of Philanthropy and Family Governance and Head of Estate Planning in client projects as needed
- Family Governance
- Providing detailed summary of clients feedback on intent for and purpose of wealth
- Support and plan content and events to engage Rising Generation clients
- General
- Manage all marketing content white papers webinar replays available to advisors on the Advice Planning and Fiduciary Services Hub
- Assist in preparing materials for webinars and publications in addition to advisor training materials in the areas of trust and estate planning philanthropy and family governance.
- Create ad-hoc client presentations in PowerPoint
- Maintain new business pipeline for Trust Company; manage monthly pipeline report meetings as well as tracking donor advised fund adoption and opportunities to improve operational processes to enhance DAF adoption for both advisors and clients
- Attend client meetings take detailed notes and track all follow-up items Lead ad-hoc projects within the Trust Company planning team
- Oversee administrative functions within the Luminary software
Experience & Skills Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of estate planning techniques as well as standard charitable vehicles including donor advised funds private foundations charitable remainder trusts and charitable lead trusts
- Strong interest in philanthropy charitable planning and family governance including the sub-topics of wealth communication succession planning and constructive decision-making
- Familiarity with eMoney Luminary NumberCruncher and/or other estate and financial planning software desired
- CFP preferred
Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $80000-$120000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employees pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location business sector performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics market benchmarking data any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus which along with base salary and retirement contributions is part of our total comprehensive package.
