As a Designer for PCL Civil Constructors Tampa Florida youll have the opportunity to elevate our brand through compelling visual communications across internal and external platforms. Were seeking a creative professional with strong design expertise who can develop impactful brand-aligned materials and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate brings progressive experience a solid understanding of marketing and print processes and advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.

Heres how a Designer for PCL Civil Constructors Inc. within Civil East contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Develops visually compelling materials guided by our corporate brand guidelines for internal and external advertising marketing visual communications and websites.
- Works collaboratively with creative professionals to create visual communications that clearly represent the PCL brand.
- Creates visual communication plans for small to mid-size projects and related initiatives and ensures they are measurable.
- Provides graphic design consultation to peers middle management internal and external stakeholders and some executives.
- Conceptualizes graphic design ideas and content presenting larger projects to manager.
- Creates and enhances brand awareness through internal/external visual communication.
- Performs needs-assessment to determine current and future visual communications assets requirements and make recommendations for procuring assets.
- Conducts and coordinates printer proofs quality checks and correspondence with design contributors/vendors.
- Adheres to brand guidelines in all visual creation.
- Conducts research interviews and collaborates with subject matter experts to create engaging visuals.
Qualifications
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in film studies or a related discipline.
- 4 years of progressive experience in a related field.
- Contributes to a multifaceted visual communications plan.
- In-depth understanding of the various communications and marketing mediums.
- Contributes in the development of strategy and guidelines.
- Demonstrates understanding of design and branding principles to create visual communications in line with the company brand.
- Experience with pre-press offset and digital printing process.
- Demonstrates intermediate to high-level design skills through current work or portfolio that shows an understanding of impactful visual communications.
- Ability to design within graphic standards and guidelines to ensure cohesive visual communications.
- Advanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud and working knowledge in other specialized software required.
