DescriptionThe Test Tech at StreamLabs Water will play a vital role in supporting the hardware product lifecycle by executing test plans troubleshooting and verifying quality. This is a full-time on-site position in Smyrna GA reporting directly to the VP Hardware & Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed testing and troubleshooting on mechanical electrical and software systems for water monitoring devices.
- Implement standard and ad-hoc test protocols to evaluate product performance reliability and compliance.
- Document test results accurately and provide technical reports for hardware reviews.
- Collaborate with engineering production and quality assurance teams to expedite issue resolution and product improvements.
- Provide feedback to VP Hardware & Operations regarding observed faults trends and quality metrics.
- Participate in the setup and maintenance of test equipment and environments.
- Support product installations and occasional field testing as required.
- Ensure adherence to company and regulatory safety standards during all activities.
Qualifications- Previous experience in hardware testing or technician roles preferably in IoT water technology or industrial systems.
- Proficient with diagnostic tools test equipment and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work safely on-site and coordinate across functions.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes for hardware preferred.
