Operational Data Transformation Manager - Hybrid Opportunity
This is a hybrid position based at our corporate office in Brentwood TN with on-site work required Monday through Wednesday.
The Operational Data Transformation Manager is a critical leader in Surgery Partners transformation into a data-driven operating organization. This role combines three key capabilities: 1) Deep knowledge of Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) operations 2) Deep understanding of data and analytics and the ability to translate insights into action and 3) Expertise in building and delivering data training programs. This position will empower operational leaders and facility staff to leverage data tools for informed decision-making driving operational excellence across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Disseminate Data Tools: Deliver data tools to operations leaders and ensure effective adoption.
- Training and Education: Conduct group and individual training sessions for operations leaders on using data tools to drive business decisions.
- Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Collect insights from the field and collaborate with the analytics build team to enhance existing tools and develop new ones.
- Best Practices Sharing: Promote best practices for data tool utilization across operational leadership.
- Facility-Level Training: Train facility staff on proper data input and management to meet data standards and optimize tool performance.
- Champion Data-Driven Culture: Serve as a key advocate for data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Lead Data Communications: Drive communication strategy about data priorities new product releases changes to standards
Qualifications:
Experience: 5 years working in or leading Ambulatory Surgery Centers or Surgical Hospitals. Proven ability to use data to drive operational insights and improvements.
Skills: Strong training and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Comfort with data analytics concepts and tools.
Other: Willingness to travel for training events and stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience developing and delivering training programs.
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI Excel).
- Ability to translate complex data concepts into practical actionable guidance for non-technical users.
- Strong organizational and relationship-building skills.
