Primary Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Account Executive:
Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective USF Athletics ticket holders
Sell general season tickets and group ticket packages across nine scholarship sports
Communicate with fans via phone email and in-person interactions to build relationships and drive retention
Assist customers with account questions seating options and ticketing solutions
Accurately document customer interactions and sales activity using ticketing and CRM systems
Represent USF Athletics at games campus events and community outreach initiatives
Collaborate with full-time staff to support department-wide sales and service goals
Qualifications
Must be a current University of South Florida student in good academic standing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Customer-focused mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor
Comfortable speaking with customers and groups over the phone
Dependable detail-oriented and eager to learn
Availability to work evenings weekends and select game days
Preferred Attributes
Interest in sports business customer service or sales
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
Previous customer service or sales experience (preferred not required)
Compensation & Professional Development
Hourly pay with performance-based incentives
Practical experience in collegiate athletics ticket sales and customer service
Training in relationship management consultative selling and fan engagement
Networking opportunities within USF Athletics and the sports industry
Potential pathway to future roles in athletics revenue generation
Time Commitment
Approximately 20-30 hours per week with flexible scheduling around academic commitments
