Air Liquide ALAS is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic HSE Intern to support our Health Safety and Environment initiatives. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in a multinational industrial gas company contributing to a safe and sustainable working environment.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in the development implementation and maintenance of HSE policies procedures and programs.
Support the coordination and execution of HSE training sessions and awareness campaigns for employees.
Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
Assist in the investigation of incidents accidents and near misses contributing to root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
Help maintain and update HSE documentation including permits records and reports. * Participate in risk assessments and the development of mitigation strategies.
Support the monitoring of environmental performance and data collection.
Collaborate with various departments to promote a strong safety culture.
Assist with the preparation of HSE performance reports and presentations.
Stay informed about relevant HSE legislation regulations and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science Engineering or a related field.
Basic understanding of fundamental HSE principles and concepts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Computer proficient including working knowledge of Gemini.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
The candidate must have valid unrestricted employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
