AWC Staff Services are looking for a National Grid Authorised Electrician/Wireman for work alongside our client at Swansea North Substation.

Duties will include:

Electrical fitting activities on high voltage switch gear transformers and associated equipment
Installation of control and protection equipment
Installation of earthing systems
Installation of outdoor equipment such as bus bar disconnectors and switchgear
Maintenance of high voltage equipment
Fault finding on low and high voltage equipment
Receiving high voltage documents

You must have experience in a substation environment have your NG Persons ticket Manual Handling and all other relevant tickets to apply for the role.

Start: 23rd February 2026
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: Up to 320 Per Day DOE
