Within this the Research Ethics and Integrity unit promotes responsible research conduct offering guidance education and oversight in line with the Australian Code. It also manages complaints and allegations to ensure fairness and compliance. The Animal Welfare Office ensures the ethical care and use of animals in research and teaching assessing compliance with approved protocols and relevant legislation and monitoring animal welfare and adverse events.
