About the Role
Looking for a Project Engineer to oversee execution of custom equipment orders from order entry through shipment and installation. This role serves as the technical and coordination link between customers engineering manufacturing and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Manage custom equipment projects from order handoff through delivery
- Act as the primary technical point of contact during project execution
- Coordinate with Design Engineering Manufacturing Purchasing and Quality teams
- Review customer specifications drawings and technical requirements
- Track project schedules milestones and deliverables
- Manage scope changes risks and technical challenges
- Support factory acceptance testing (FAT) and customer inspections
- Maintain project documentation and provide status updates to stakeholders
- Assist with installation commissioning and post-delivery technical support as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline
- 2 5 years of experience in project engineering or capital equipment projects
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical systems
- ERP or project tracking system experience is a plus
