Job Summary
Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled L2 Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Hyper-V virtualization Windows/Linux servers storage systems and networking technologies. This role involves troubleshooting performance optimization and ensuring high availability of infrastructure systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 support for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.
- Manage and maintain Hyper-V virtualized environments.
- Administer and support Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) environments.
- Monitor manage and troubleshoot SAN/NAS storage systems.
- Handle networking tasks including switching routing VLANs firewall configurations and TCP/IP troubleshooting.
- Perform server patching upgrades backups and disaster recovery activities.
- Work on incident management root cause analysis (RCA) and problem resolution.
- Coordinate with L3 teams and vendors for complex issue resolution.
- Ensure infrastructure security and compliance standards are maintained.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Microsoft Hyper-V
- Good knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022)
- Hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL / Ubuntu)
- Experience with Storage technologies (SAN NAS NetApp Dell EMC etc.)
- Networking fundamentals Switching Routing Firewalls VLAN TCP/IP
- Experience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira preferred)
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft / Linux certifications (preferred)
- ITIL knowledge
- Experience in enterprise or data center environments
