Role: Developer

Location: Halifax NS (4 Days Onsite per Week)
Duration: 6 Months Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Developer with 3 5 years of professional software development experience and a strong track record of delivering high-quality scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in backend development modern frameworks and secure application design.

Key Requirements

3 5 years of hands-on experience in software development with successful project delivery.
Strong experience in Java development including frameworks such as Spring Boot and Spring Framework along with a solid understanding of JVM performance optimization.
Proficiency in and TypeScript with experience building scalable server-side applications and RESTful APIs.
Experience working with MongoDB including database design query optimization aggregation pipelines and performance tuning.
Good understanding of software architecture principles security best practices (OAuth SSO) and secure coding standards.
Experience with Git CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices.
Exposure to data masking techniques.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
Experience using Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
