Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) Traveler to join a busy cardiovascular team in Lynwood CA. The ideal candidate must be comfortable in a fast-paced high-acuity environment and fully understand the mandatory on-call commitment.

Schedule Details

4 days per week 10-hour shifts
Mandatory on-call: 10 days per month
4 on-call shifts must include weekend coverage (Fri/Sat/Sun)
Must meet facility response time requirements

Key Responsibilities

Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations angioplasties stent placements and other interventional procedures
Monitor patients before during and after procedures
Administer medications and conscious sedation
Respond to STEMI and emergency cardiac cases
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital standards

Requirements

Active California RN License (required)
Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
BLS & ACLS (AHA) Required
Strong interventional cardiology experience
Must be able and willing to meet on-call and weekend call requirements (non-negotiable)
