Scope of Project

The Child Support System Enhancement Effort aims to modernize legacy mainframe functionality into an enhanced web-based platform. This initiative continues the modernization program to improve user experience system integration and operational efficiency within an Agile development environment.

The Lead Full Stack Java Developer will lead the design architecture and development of a robust web-based solution while leveraging AI-powered development practices to accelerate delivery and improve software quality.

Responsibilities:

Lead full-stack Java development for modernization of legacy systems
Design backend services using Java (8) Spring Boot Spring Data JPA/Hibernate
Develop responsive front-end interfaces using JavaScript HTML5 CSS Bootstrap
Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems via SOAP/REST
Work with messaging platforms (JMS RabbitMQ Kafka)
Utilize AI-assisted tools for code generation code transformation (COBOL to Java) automated testing and vulnerability detection
Develop and execute unit and automated tests (JUnit Mockito Selenium)
Support data migration to relational databases (DB2 PostgreSQL Oracle)
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development using Git Jenkins GitHub Actions Maven/Gradle
Ensure secure coding practices and performance optimization
Collaborate in Agile teams and provide technical leadership
