Job Title: Voice Engineer
Location - The Woodlands TX 77380 - Hybrid (3 Days Onsite/Week)
Our client is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Voice Engineer to join our internal telecommunications this role you will support the deployment and maintenance of voice communication systems ensuring seamless connectivity and performance. You will be instrumental in troubleshooting issues implementing solutions and assisting in the enhancement of our CISCO voice infrastructure.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation and configuration of voice systems including VoIP and PBX solutions
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure optimal operation
  • Support end-users with voice-related inquiries and technical assistance
  • Document technical processes and procedures for voice system management
  • Participate in the testing and deployment of new voice features and upgrades
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define voice requirements and integrate voice solutions with existing infrastructure
  • Travel may be required at times within the US.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
  • 2 years of experience in voice engineering or telecommunications
  • Intermediate understanding of VoIP protocols (e.g. SIP RTP) and telephony systems
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of supporting CISCO Unified Communications platform.
  • A proactive mindset.
Preferred:
  • Experience with Cisco Collaboration solutions
  • Knowledge of call center technologies and features
  • Relevant certifications in voice technologies (e.g. CCNA Voice) are a plus
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
  • Familiarity with VoIP and telephony systems
  • Basic understanding of network protocols and configurations
  • Experience with monitoring tools for voice systems
