Sr. QC Engineer

5. Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic highly motivated passionate energetic detailed oriented and
experienced Senior Engineer to join our team Jejuri Plant (Pune). The QC Engineer will be
responsible for ensuring that our fabrication assembly and packaging processes meet the highest
standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations.
This role will involve developing and implementing quality control procedures conducting
inspections analyzing data managing team implementation of IMS Kaizen and other quality tools
and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our operations.
6. Key Responsibilities:
Develop implement and maintain quality control procedures for all fabrication processes.
Conduct regular daily inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and
specifications.
Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address quality issues.
Conduct supplier audits and evaluations of incoming goods to ensure compliance with quality
standards.
Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance.
Analyze data from quality inspections and audits to identify trends and opportunities for process
improvement.
Participate in process improvement initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma projects.
Maintain accurate records of quality control activities including inspection reports non-conformance
reports and corrective action plans.
Prepare regular reports on quality performance metrics for management review.
7. Qualifications and Requirements:
1. BE Mechanical
2. Total experience of 6-8 years in quality in the fabrication industry.
3. Experience as a MR (ISO Standard) for 1 years will be an added advantage. Experience as a MR
(ISO Standard) for 1 year and Certification in Welding (AWS / CSWIP 3.1 / BHEL Welding
Course) - will be an added advantage.
4. Sound knowledge and experience of fabrication processes such as Welding rolling machining
cutting drilling blasting and painting related to Oil and Gas industry.
5. Hands on experience on Piping spools Inspections Structural Inspections Pressure Vessels &
Tanks SKIDS Inspections and having knowledge of Reading P&ID is a MUST.
6. Sound knowledge and experience of Section VIII and the overall ASME code EN code IBR code
CE Marking
7. Sound knowledge of quality management principles and techniques including ISO standards
Kaizen Six Sigma etc.
8. Require ASNT NDT Level II Certification in RT PT & VT.
