Job Summary
As a Business Analyst youll be at the heart of our mission bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and business needs. Your work will directly influence our strategy and solutions making B2B payments more accessible cost-effective and secure for companies around the globe.
The Business Analyst is tasked with gathering and articulating both functional and non-functional requirements ensuring that our solutions align perfectly with stakeholder needs and business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of sharp analytical skills exceptional communication abilities and an understanding of User Acceptance testing procedures Regression testing environments and the card payments landscape with a preference for those experienced in B2B payments.
Reports to: Payment Operations UAT Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Write and socialize comprehensive business requirements and success/acceptance criteria for new systems development / enhancements.
- Conduct thorough business and process analyses translating findings into detailed user stories for our development QA and UAT teams.
- Play a pivotal role in solution design offering both expertise and innovative ideas to enhance our offerings.
- Work closely with Payment Operations UAT Manager to develop reusable testing scenarios.
- Offer ongoing domain knowledge support throughout the development lifecycle of features ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Participate in daily team stand-ups contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Secure agreement on business requirements from users and ensuring clarity and alignment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis and change management ideally within the payments industry
- Specific experience in B2B payments is highly desirable demonstrating a understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this space.
- A minimum of three years of experience demonstrating an understanding of Acceptance Testing procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams to gather and articulate requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and superior communication both verbal and written.
- Experience with Confluence and Jira facilitating effective project management and team collaboration.
- Previous experience with cloud-based solutions like Amazon Web Services.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to identify edge cases in complex payment flows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear and articulate requirements documents and acceptance criteria.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced release-driven environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to push back constructively when business requests are unclear or acceptance criteria are not satisfied by the technical teams.
