Job Description:
Were seeking an experienced Technical Writer to develop clear and user-friendly documentation for a cloud-based software project. The ideal candidate will translate complex technical concepts into accessible language and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create user guides API documentation and release notes.
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts in an Agile environment.
- Maintain version control and documentation review practices.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with agency standards and accessibility requirements.
- Submit a technical writing sample preferably a style guide with your application.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of technical writing experience preferably in government or technology.
- Proficient in MS Word Google Docs Confluence and documentation tools.
- Familiar with Git and doacumentation platforms like GitBook.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and REST APIs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
