Job Summary
Educational Qualification:
. or . (Physics and Chemistry) or B.E or Diploma in Chemical Engineering
Job Resposibilities:
- To operate the plant smoothly and safely to achieve set yield and quality of product working on DCS/PLC/SCADA control system.
- Respond to ERCP as per procedure
- Control process parameters within safe operating window. Respond promptly to alarms and initiate actions for rectification
- Effective use of OMPro tool
- Mitigate process emergencies and emergency shutdown
- Monitor raw material and energy consumption in shift
- Participate in shutdown startup and preservation
- Report any abnormality to shift superintendent
- Monitor quality control parameters
- Maintain optimum operating conditions for lower energy consumption and increased yields
- Maintain parameters as per SOCs during trials
- Participate in learning from incidents and RCA discussions & Maintain shift logs for respective areas / equipment
- Report promptly any abnormal observations to shit superintendent including safety near-miss and incidents.
- Monitoring for Fire and Gas detection system and action coordination
- Member of Auxiliary Fire Squad
- Following latest safety guidelines management guidelines like IMS ISO TQM QCC 5S etc.
- Participation in safety audits like Plant start up safety reviews and periodic safety audits
