About the role
AstheRegistered Nurseyou areresponsible for providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents.
This role is based at our South Brighton aged care service offering a supportive team environment and a residentfocused approach. We are seeking a committed RN to join us with opportunities to work across both day and night shifts. We currently have several night shifts available and would prefer a candidate who is willing to take these as part of their roster. The position is ideal for someone looking to contribute to high-quality clinical care while supporting broader RN shift coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the delivery of quality clinical services in line with a resident centred model of care
- Manage and provide efficient effective and compassionate care planning and assessment
- Responsible to ensure medication management is provided in a safe and effective manner in line with legislative requirements and policy
- Work collaboratively with staff other health professionals the resident their families and Clinical Leadership teams to ensure clinical decisions are based on best practice and positive resident outcomes
About you
- AHPRA Registration and current First Aid Certificate
- Recent nursing/clinical experience in the last 5 years or evidence of a refresher course
- Effective communication interpersonal and organisational skills
- Initiative and the desire to continually improve client care
- Capability to prioritise tasks and achieve goals within set timeframes
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
