Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 410 Nights (Variable)
Pay: $2404.00/week
Completion Bonus: $2500 per contract (up to $7500 after three contracts)
Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a travel assignment in the Emergency Department at a Trauma Level I facility in Orange California. This role supports high-acuity emergency services and requires strong clinical judgment crisis intervention skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
The LCSW will provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments crisis intervention care coordination and discharge planning services for a diverse patient population including adolescents pediatrics adults and geriatrics. This position is ideal for clinicians with strong emergency department experience and trauma-informed care backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform biopsychosocial assessments and crisis evaluations.
- Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
- Coordinate care with internal and external interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide crisis intervention for suicide self-harm violence and substance use.
- Facilitate discharge planning contingency planning and care transitions.
- Arrange community resources guardianship APS/CPS referrals and follow-ups.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic.
- Support trauma-informed care and emergency workflows.
Qualifications
- Active California LCSW license (must be in hand at submission).
- Minimum 3 years of experience required.
- Emergency Department experience required.
- Trauma Level I experience required.
- Epic experience required (must be documented in work history).
- Strong crisis intervention assessment and care coordination skills.
