Lawn Ranger of NoVA is a RELIABLE and HONEST lawn mowing and lawn care company serving Northern Virginia. We are locally owned and operated by the same leadership team behind Ace Handyman Services of NoVA & DCan Ace Hardware affiliated company trusted in thousands of homes.

Position Overview

As a Lawn Services Technician you will:

Drive a company truck to residential and small commercial job sites
Work independently or with a crew partner
Operate professional lawn equipment safely and efficiently
Deliver consistent high-quality mowing and lawn services
Represent the Lawn Ranger brand with professionalism and courtesy

We are not a guy with a mower. We are building a disciplined reliable customer-focused operation.

Core Responsibilities

Operate walk-behind mower push mower edger string trimmer and blower
Ability to drive manual (stick shift) transmission
Perform weekly and bi-weekly mowing services
Maintain sharp striping clean edges and professional presentation
Perform minor equipment maintenance:
- Blade sharpening and replacement
- Oil changes
- Basic small engine upkeep
Maintain a clean and organized shop and truck
Respect company equipment and property
Maintain professional communication with customers

On rain days or schedule gaps technicians will assist with local marketing efforts (door hanger distribution and neighborhood outreach). We keep our team working.

Comfortable working independently
Friendly confident communicator with customers
Clean driving record
Ability to pass background and substance screening
Zero tolerance for drugs or alcohol while employed

We want team members who put customers at ease and take ownership of their routes.

Qualifications

Experience in lawn care or landscaping preferred (but trainable candidates welcome)
Valid drivers license
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong attention to detail

Compensation: $22.00 per hour

The 800 Craftsmen who represent our Brandare the heart and soul of our turn-key white-glove home repair maintenance and improvement are skilled and experienced in many trades but their professionalism and attention to detail is what sets them apart from others who work in the industry.

Most of the projects completed are for Repeat and Referral Customersfolks truly appreciate our high level of service and they often request additional work by asking for particular Craftsmen by name.
