DevOps Engineer (Cloud Governance)

Who Were Looking For

Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Cloud Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated person to fill a role as a DevOps Engineering (Cloud Governance).

The primary responsibility of this role is to be the principal expert for the cloud engineering team to provide oversight for day-to-day Governance activities and maintain Toyotas cloud standards.

What youll be doing

Cloud Governance:

• Implement and maintain automated cloud environments.

• Monitor/Enforce technical standards for development and operations including coding standards governance strategies policies and procedures.

• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and industry trends.

• Provide expertise in DevOps cloud automation cloud operations and FinOps (tagging cost optimization visibility).

• Contribute to the development of a streamlined cloud governance practice including mentorship and promoting Agile/Scrum best practices.

• Document designs and best practices professionally.

Team operations & supplier management

• Collaborate with peer engineering teams to plan organize and execute cloud projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with security and quality standards.

• Develop test deploy and maintain cloud-based solutions and services using various cloud platforms tools and technologies.

• Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs and deliver optimal cloud solutions.

• Monitor troubleshoot and optimize cloud performance availability reliability and scalability.

• Help implement new cloud technologies products and services and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

• Proficiency in Python programming and API development.

• 3 years of experience with cloud security controls IAM network security encryption logging monitoring and data protection mechanisms.

• Ability to build dashboards for cost visibility cloud KPIs metrics and cloud health.

• Proficiency in CI/CD programming scripting (Python) and automation tools (Terraform)

• Experience in business operations process improvement and governance frameworks.

• Proficiency in any of the following data analysis tools (Quicksight Power BI CUR) and techniques.

Added bonus if you have

• Relevant AWS certifications are a plus

• Terraform certifications is a plus
