Job Summary
CK Group are recruiting for a Process Operator to join a materials manufacturing company at their site based in Oldbury on a permanent basis.
This is a shift based role. The hours are 7am to 7pm with a pattern of two days two nights then four days off.
Salary:
This role offers a salary of 50000 inclusive of shift allowance.

Process Operator Role:
- Materials handling using Fork Lift Truck lifting aids and manual handling. Materials include drums kegs and IBCs of raw materials intermediate finished products and waste.
- Plant process monitoring including sampling and basic analysis as appropriate.
- Monitor of product quality to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Assistin troubleshooting process operations including equipment and process related issues.
- Have involvement in workgroup development activities.
- GCSEs grades A-C (or the equivalent). Maths and English are essential to allow understanding of technical instructions and complete the production records.
- Strong communication skills ability to work well in a collaborative team environment follow technical instructions and adhere to Health and Safety & Environmental procedures.
- Previous experience driving a Forklift truck would be beneficial however full training will be given if required for a successful candidate.
- Appreciation of the risks associated with the handling of hazardous chemicals conducting chemical processes at plant scale.
