Job Title: Special Process Operator (Paint Spraying)

Working Pattern: Days (Full time)

Working location: Bristol Filton (5 days onsite)

Join a high performing team delivering mission critical aerospace components for the F 35 LiftSystem one of the worlds most advanced defence programmes. As a Special Process Operator with a focus on paint spraying youll play a key role in applying precision coatings that protect enhance and extend the performance of complex engineered parts. Youll operate specialised spray equipment follow exacting specifications and ensure every finish meets the highest standards of quality and durability. Your expertise will be essential in guaranteeing the safe accurate and on time delivery of components that support a globally significant defence capability.

What you will be doing:

  • Operate industrial furnaces and perform chemical cleaning of aerospace components

  • Conduct acid etch processing abrasive blasting and other surface treatments

  • Carry out masking and hand paint spraying to precise technical instructions

  • Work within a highly controlled manufacturing environment delivering to strict quality and safety standards

  • Have experience in aerospace /automotive paint spraying or chemical processing

  • Demonstrate a strong track record of delivering to engineering standards and tight timescales

  • Show awareness of COSHH and risk assessment practices

  • Possess a team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety quality and delivery

To work for the Rolls-Royce Defence business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individualswho are a UK national or in MoD approved cases a dual national.
