Work Schedule: Hybrid. Mostly Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM but can vary based on activity.

Preferred Qualifications:

-5 years experience in obstetrical nursing including labor and delivery

Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Teams.

Professionalism and strong written and oral communication skills.

Ability to present effectively in front of a crowd. Experience with clinical simulation training.

Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborates with community partner leaders an staff to assess learning needs.
• Develops implements and evaluates educational plans/programs which may utilize methods measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
• Provides technical assistance and leadership to community healthcare professionals as related to education programs and/or quality improvement (QI) projects.
• Identifies and/or develops teaching tools and instructional materials.
• Keeps records of educational activities and prepares reports.
• Applies the existing body of evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in health care to nursing practice ensuring that nursing care is delivered based on patients age-specific needs and clinical needs as described in the departments scope of service.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

• Bachelors degree in Nursing with a nursing certification in a related field (to be obtained within 6 months of hire) or Masters degree in Nursing

EXPERIENCE

• Five years registered nurse experience in the field of position applied for.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent sitting standing walking reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
• Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms malfunctioning machinery etc.
• Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
• Occasional bending stooping kneeling squatting twisting and gripping.
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
• Rare climbing.
