Federal Signal is looking to hire for our 2026 Summer Internship Program!

Those hired for the program will work from May 18 2026 through August 7 2026.
We are looking for students that are pursuing a 4-yr degree in Software Engineering.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Engineering - Student pursuing a bachelors degree in Computer Science/ Computer engineering.

• Motor Control Firmware Development
• D3 testing
• Navigator pattern generation
• Convergence log development

Position Requirements

• Undergraduate student pursuing a bachelors degree in the major listed above
• Student must have completed their sophomore year of college
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel PowerPoint and Word
• Firmware development
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Considering local candidates only; Federal Signal does not provide relocation or housing stipend.

Internship is paid based on year completed in education: $20.57/hr - $22.44/hr
