The Role

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Product Owner to lead frontoffice Quantitative Research with a focus on Fixed Income and High Income Analytics.

In this role you will sit at the intersection of quantitative research investment decisionmaking and technology delivery partnering closely with Product Area leaders Domain heads Portfolio Managers and senior Quant Researchers. This role involves guiding projects from the research stage through to development ensuring successful execution and alignment with strategic objectives.

You will drive strategic execution and sequencing across Product Areas Domains and Scrum teams; actively manage delivery risk; and ensure transparency into progress impediments and outcomes for senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the planning execution and delivery of Quantitative Research initiatives in the areas of Portfolio Construction Portfolio Engineering Investment Risk and Analytics. Develop and track project plans timelines and landmarks to ensure strategic alignment and timely delivery.

  • Lead and prioritize backlogs for large teams ensuring efficient workflow and project alignment with business objectives. Facilitate regular backlog refinement sessions ensuring clarity and prioritization of tasks.

  • Champion Agile methodologies and adopt tools to enhance team productivity and collaboration including sprint planning stand-ups and sprint reviews.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external partners ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.

  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables. Present project updates to senior management and stakeholders ensuring all parties are informed of progress and any potential issues.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 7 years of experience in program management specifically grooming backlogs for large teams with multiple projects and milestones.

  • Extensive background in Investment Management with a strong understanding of multi-asset class investment processes in the front office.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and managing complex multi-year projects allied to deep familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in implementing Agile practices within large teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills capable of interacting effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders.

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) / Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or equivalent experience in a related field.

The base salary range for this position is $00 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope geographic location candidates relevant experience and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
