Lodge Manager Luxury Lodge Bahamas
Salary: USD 3450 per month Live-in
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a professional and experienced Lodge Manager for a luxury lodge based in the Bahamas. This is a 10-month fixed-term contract suited to a strong operational leader who can deliver a seamless high-end guest experience while maintaining excellent service standards and sound financial control.

10-month fixed-term contract (1 October 30 July)
Gross salary: USD 3450 per month
Performance bonus: USD 5000 (end of season)
Six days on one day off (where operations allow)
Six weeks paid leave
On-site accommodation and meals provided
Return economy flight included
Use of company vehicle (subject to availability)
Purpose of the Role
Act as the operational and cultural leader of the lodge
Ensure a seamless professional and warm guest experience
Maintain consistently high standards across all front-of-house and service functions
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Overall responsibility for guest experience front-of-house operations and housekeeping
Lead and supervise lodge staff across departments
Align staff rotations and operational staffing with occupancy levels and labour budgets
Coordinate closely with fishing operations and maintenance leadership
Oversee service standards cleanliness and overall presentation
Guest Experience
Host guests manage check-ins and check-outs and maintain daily engagement
Handle guest requests concerns and feedback professionally and efficiently
Serve as first point of escalation for guest-related matters
Financial & Administrative Oversight
Work within issued monthly operational budgets
Prepare payroll schedules and upload to Google Drive
Submit payroll and supplier payment requests for processing
Manage and reconcile cash floats including gratuities and guest check-outs
Procure operational essentials within approved budgets
Track daily purchases and expenses on Google Drive
Manage F&B and retail inventory with strong cost control
Oversee stock and inventory management
Coordinate with reservations regarding arrival and departure reports
Budget & Cost Control
Measured against staff cost per bed-night including service housekeeping and local chefs
Manage fixed monthly budgets for housekeeping supplies office supplies and guest-facing essentials
Maintain effective labour cost control aligned with service standards
Capital Expenditure
Contribute to annual CAPEX planning for front-of-house and guest-facing areas
Submit CAPEX requests during scheduled review periods
Authority & Decision-Making
Authority over daily lodge operations and service delivery
Direct leadership of service housekeeping and local kitchen staff
Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and Maintenance & Fishing Operations Manager
Explicit Boundaries
Does not execute payments directly from company accounts
Does not set wage rates compensation structures or overall budgets
Does not approve CAPEX or vendor contracts
All exceptions or budget overruns must be escalated in advance

Smooth well-coordinated lodge operations
Stable motivated and well-managed team
Effective labour and operational cost control
