Pay: $1958.40/week (plus $2300 completion bonus per contract up to $6900 after three contracts)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in San Antonio TX on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide expert care to critically ill patients with complex and life-threatening conditions. The ideal candidate has strong ICU experience demonstrates sound critical thinking under pressure and is committed to delivering high-quality evidence-based patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and manage vital signs ventilators infusion pumps and other life-support equipment.
• Administer prescribed medications fluids and treatments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with physicians respiratory therapists and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and emergency situations such as code responses.
• Educate patients families on treatment plans recovery expectations and available resources.
• Accurately document assessments interventions and outcomes in the medical record.
• Adhere to infection control practices safety protocols and evidence-based ICU care standards.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Texas (or compact eligibility).
• Minimum 12 years of recent ICU nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); CCRN preferred.
• Strong critical thinking communication and clinical assessment skills.
• Compassionate and adaptable approach to caring for critically ill patients.
• COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
