Job Description
At Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort exceptional dining experiences begin behind the scenes. As a Steward you are an essential part of the culinary team maintaining a clean safe and organized kitchen environment that supports efficient operations and the highest standards of sanitation and service.
This role is ideal for a dependable hardworking individual who takes pride in teamwork cleanliness and contributing to memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes glassware flatware pots and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas storage rooms and back-of-house spaces
Assist with trash removal recycling and proper waste handling
Support culinary operations by organizing clean equipment and restocking supplies
Follow all food safety sanitation and Omni brand standards
Assist with deep cleaning projects and special assignments as directed by leadership
Qualifications
Qualifications
Previous stewarding dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Strong reliability teamwork and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays
